2nd Generation ARSC Research Team: Analog Rice Innovation from Garut Flour by FTP UB Students

Agritech Research and Study Club (ARSC) is one of the FTP Student Sovereignty Institutions (LKM) which often gives birth to outstanding seeds of achievement in the field of research and authorship. This time ARSC fostered outstanding FTP students to become the 2nd Generation ARSC Research Team. This research team worked together to give birth to works that are useful for society and the development of science.

This 2nd Generation ARSC Research Team, consisting of nine students, made an analog rice innovation from arrowroot flour.
This was born from motivation to reduce rice consumption. The nine people are Dwi Uchtiyawati Rohmah, Daisy, Achmad Ilmi Arya Putra, Syarifatul Izza, Muhammad Nugrah Fadillah, Nurul Hidayatul Khoirul, Elinno Primadiani, Sakinah Hilya Abida and Silvi Astri Cahyani.

Analog rice that they make utilizes local potential, which is a blend of arrowroot flour and cornstarch which is fortified with red bean flour. Arrowroot flour and cornstarch have a low glycemic index making it safe for diabetics.

Congratulations and continue working for the 2nd Generation ARSC Research Team. Hopefully this activity will inspire other students to continue working for the community and the development of science. (Din)
