GOES ARSC: Vermicomposting Training in Selorejo Village

Sunday, November 3, 2019 Agritech Research and Study Club has carried out GOES activities. This activity is one of the work programs of the Research and Technology Division. The research and technology team guides the departure from Brawijaya University to Selorejo Village in Malang Regency. As for Adi Rahmanto, as the ARSC chairman, revealed “Goes activities take place every year, this activity aims to train village communities with the potential of the village so that it can become an advanced village”. This year’s Goes will provide training on vermicomposting, which is making compost from market waste using the lumbriccus worm where the process of bio-oxidation occurs so that it can produce nitrogen that functions to fertilize the soil. The enthusiasm of the village community is very high because in the village of Delorejo there is still a lot of market garbage scattered about so the residents are very grateful to the research and technology team from ARSC. Not only providing training, previously the research and technology team also conducted socialization to the people of Selorejo Village. The activity ended at 15.00 and the GOES committee returned to campus. (ER)
