Counseling and Academic Board (BKPA) of Faculty of Agricultural Technology Universitas Brawijaya held a briefing for Mentorship for Lecturers of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, on Monday (01.30.2017) in room F-4.1 starting at 08.00 pm.
In his presentation, Dra. Ella Faridati, M.Pd from Pusat Pengembangan Bimbingan dan Konseling Mahasiswa LP3M Universitas Negeri Malang described the importance of the role of academic adviser lecturer in academic and and non-academic advisory services. Academic advisory services that performed during the process of a student’s study aims to help students to understand the self potential, proper planning studies, the ability to direct themselves so that they can develop themselves in an optimal and timely complete his studies. Meanwhile the next speaker, who also came from Pusat Pengembangan Bimbingan dan Konseling Mahasiswa LP3M Universitas Negeri Malang, Aji Bagus Priambodo, S.Psi. M.Psi. described the characteristics of student progress and its problems. Aji Bagus explained that students who are in a phase of early adulthood is a time of transition adolescents and adults have some developments. The development is physical, sexual, cognitive and socio-emotional. By knowing its characteristics will certainly be easier to find solutions to problems that may arise. The last material submitted by Ulifa Rahma, S.Psi. M.Psi. UB Faculty of Social Psychology of PS exposure on troubleshooting the academic and non-academic students. With the approach, and the exploration well, invite students to evaluate jointly the problems encountered, and ask for a commitment to a solution that he agreed.
