Public Information Request
Every Public Information Applicant can submit a request to obtain Public Information to Universitas Brawijaya (UB) in writing or unwritten, directly or via electronic mail.
UB will record the identity of the Public Information Applicant. Identity includes name, address, subject and format of information, as well as the method of delivering the requested information, this applies to written and unwritten requests.
UB will provide proof of receipt of the Public Information request in the form of a registration number when the request is received.
No later than 10 (ten) working days from receipt of the request, UB will provide a written notification containing:
The information requested is under UB’s control or not. If the requested information is not under UB’s control and UB is aware of the existence of the information, UB will notify the Public Body that controls the requested information.
Acceptance or rejection of requests. Requests for information will be rejected if the information requested is information that is excluded (secret).
The requested information is provided in whole or in part depending on the status of the information (exempt/confidential or publicly accessible).
Delivery tools and format of information to be provided.
UB can extend the time for sending notifications in accordance with applicable regulations, no later than the next 7 (seven) working days by providing reasons in writing.
