Agro Industrial Technology Department – Faculty of Agricultural Technology Universitas Brawijaya held an assessment simulation of Asean University Network Quality Assurance (AUN QA) on Friday (12/08/2016) at the 8th floor Meeting Room of FTP. This activity attended by AUN-QA internal assessors Ludfi Jakfar, MSCE , Ph.D. from Faculty of Engineering Brawijaya University (FT-UB) accompanied by Mas’ud Effendi, STP.MP as the Chairman of the Task Force and Chairman of TIP S1 Program and some TIP staff and student representatives.
In this simulation Jakfar Lutfi explained that, “ Assessment conducted on fifteen criteria: (1) the expected learning outcomes; (2) the program specification; (3) the program structure and content; (4) teaching and learning strategy; (5) student assessment; (6) academic staff quality; (7) support staff quality; (8) student quality; (9) student advice and support; (10) facilities and infrastructure; (11) quality assurance of teaching and learning process; (12) staff development activities; (13) stakeholders feedback; (14) output; and (15) stakeholders satisfaction. Visitation is essentially a proof of Self Assessment Report (SAR) which have been reported previously. By doing this simulation well, we hope these activities could support TIP to get success in AUN accreditation, “he explained.
AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance) is a program initiated by the ASEAN University Network since 1998. UB’s own incorporated as a member of AUN AUN QA QA since 2014. The main aim to harmonize and develop the quality assurance system to improve the standard of higher education in among the ASEAN countries. Ratings given by AUN-QA will give effect to the achievement of UB in the world. (dse)
