Prof. Seong Gu Hwang Take a Photo with All the Audience Present in this Guest Lecture

Thursday (29/8) a guest lecture was held from Hankyong National University, South Korea, which took place in the 2nd floor FTP Hall. The title of this guest lecture was “Be Ambitious in The Lord!”. On this occasion, Prof. Hwang had the opportunity to convey his learning motivation and life values to FTP students.

Prof. Hwang tells how he struggled to get his dreams and ideals. Starting from a bitter childhood, where he was not born into a rich family, but he had to help his father and mother work to meet their daily needs. Prof. Hwang told how his devotion to God and his parents were tested. The story continues how he struggled and worked hard to finish his education in Japan, learning various languages, to become a Professor until now

Prof. Hwang opened the audience perspective on the meaning of life and why we were born. That life is not about money, happiness, love and struggle. Money doesn’t always make you happy. Anything can make you happy, depends on how we respond and get that happiness.

Prof. Hwang also explained about the opportunity of FTP students to continue their studies at Hankyong National University. Requirements submitted are not too difficult, such as an English language certificate, research experience and some documents that can be viewed on the official website of the University. Prof. Hwang is also ready to help provide direction and advice in the process of applying to enter Hankyong National University.

Hopefully the knowledge gained today is beneficial to all, as well as being able to open new perspectives in addressing life. (Din)
