Eid al-Adha is a muslims celebration day of sacrifice with slaughter cows or goats. This event was carried out as a form of gratitude and warning of the events of the sacrifice carried out by Nabi Ibrahim A.S. and his son Nabi Ismail A.S. This event was carried out by all organizations in Brawijaya University, one of which was HIMATITAN FTP UB. HIMATITAN (Agricultural Industry Technology Student Association) is one of the Student Sovereignty Institutions that specifically oversees the Agricultural Industrial Technology Department of FTP UB that functions as a forum to support, develop, explore, accommodate and channel aspirations and increase the professionalism abilities of students of the Department of Agricultural Industrial Technology FTP-UB . One of the activities carried out to achieve the goals and functions of the organization is to commemorate the Muslim holiday, Eid al-Adha. The holiday commemoration process was carried out in Sonowangi Village, Ampel Gading District, Malang Regency. The series of events began with the Eid al-Adha prayer together followed by the slaughter of sacrificial animals, the distribution of qurban meat and eating together in one of the residents’ houses. The funds used in this event are Rp. 2,100,000 obtained in part from student donations used to buy 1 goat. Sonowangi village is a guided village of HIMATITAN from several periods ago until now. This event is expected to be able to improve the relationship between TIP FTP UB students and the surrounding community.
