Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Prof. Yusuf Hendrawan, STP. M.App.Life.Sc. PhD. sign an agreement with the director of PT Brawijaya Multi Usaha (BMU) Dr. Edi Purwanto, STP., MM. Monday (18/03/2024) in FTP Session Room UB 8th floor.

Both parties agreed to enter into an agreement in the field of education; research; community service; to improve the quality of human resources.

In his speech, the dean of FTP said that he welcomed this agreement for the development of UB. In addition to hoping that BMU can get bigger in the future, the Dean also hopes that this agreement can open up opportunities to absorb the entrepreneurial results of FTP students and alumni. This agreement will also open up job opportunities to increase the reach of entrepreneurial graduates. Furthermore, the Dean also hopes that in the future FTP will open opportunities for teaching factories that produce works of food innovation, cosmetics to herbal products.

Meanwhile, the director of BMU said that the agreement with FTP is the first at the faculty level. This is because FTP is famous as a repository of innovation and experts. It is expected that this cooperation can open opportunities for innovation products produced by FTP community for downstream to commercialization.

The several business units owned by BMU include downstream services to product commercialization, services for laboratory equipment and materials, vehicle services, domestic and international travel services, various foreign language courses, student independent platforms to print KRS, KHS and various other academic needs.
