Activities carried out in the first year are observation of partner problems, exploration of partner potential, providing online material on various bakery products, dairy processing technology, packaging and Storage Technology, Food Quality Assurance and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), training on dairy and bakery products including various breads, various cakes, pastries, yogurt, and milk sweets, production assistance to facilitate the production of various bakery and dairy products. The results of these activities show that the students have the skills to be able to utilize milk into products that have more potential to be marketed. Currently, bakery and yogurt business units have been formed and have been marketed in Cottage cooperatives where consumers are still dominated by the students. In order to increase the revenue of the business unit, it is necessary to provide assistance and training aimed at increasing product diversity, improving packaging design, increasing production capacity, increasing the selling value of the final product, assisting in the management of PIRT and halal certificates/labels, as well as marketing assistance both offline and online. The training and assistance carried out in this service activity is expected to make this pesantren business unit increasingly developed not only for sale in pesantren quarries, but can be marketed outside the pesantren environment, namely in malang and surrounding cities and able to compete with similar processed products which in turn will have strong economic independence.

Problem solution the results of the analysis of the situation related to the potential and problems faced by Pondok Pesantren Babussalam Al-Firdaus, Karangploso, Malang, become the basis of the solution to the problems that will be offered.
