UB lecturer launches cool application to help UKM

Through the doctoral program, serving Brawijaya University continues to show its commitment in supporting local economic development and community empowerment in Malang Raya. In this effort, the doctor of Service program chaired by Dr. Lailil Muflikhah (lecturer of FILKOM UB) and also initiated by Dr. Dimas Firmanda Al Riza (FTP UB lecturer) has launched a very innovative initiative, namely an application called TREKSISTEM designed specifically to help the MSME community and independent drivers in managing orders, deliveries, and marketing strategies.

The doctoral program serving lecturers from FTP Universitas Brawijaya has collaborated with small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) and independent drivers in Malang Raya to identify the problems they face in running their businesses. The result of this intense cooperation resulted in innovative solutions in the form of information technology-based applications tailored to their needs. On Monday, September 4, 2023, in order to launch this innovative application, the doctoral team served to hold a Workshop on Marketing Management and launching the Treksistem application at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya. In this event, the material about CRM is given by Mr. Langgeng Setyono (lecturer of FIA UB) as a member of the doctoral team. In addition, Mr. Yudi from UMKM Digital Partner Transporter as the manager of the Treksistem application developed with PT EBAS gave an explanation of the benefits and use of the Treksistem application. On the occasion also attended by MSME partners including from Ayam geprek sa’i, Shoester.co, and clean shoes.

This initiative is a clear example of how universities can play an active role in advancing local communities through collaboration, innovation, and education. The doctoral team serving Universitas Brawijaya hopes that this program will be a pilot for the diffusion of technology to the wider community.
